ABOUT MANUEL SEUM - SML

Manuel Seum studied classical composition at the Conservatorio Martini in Bologna and later deepened his focus on film music through a course led by the renowned film composer Marco Biscarini, known for works such as "Hidden Away", which was also awarded at the Berlinale.

He then continued his studies in the “Composition for Film and Media” program at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich.

There, he realized his first projects—short films, web series, and theater productions—in collaboration with various directors, developing the ability to manage a musical production from the initial idea to the final master.

Several of the short films he contributed to received prestigious awards, including "Stinkfrucht ", which was screened at numerous international festivals such as LA Shorts, the BAFTA Student Awards, In the Palace, Filmfest München, and others.

He also studied at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf in Potsdam, where he further expanded his experience by working on new film projects.

Today, he lives in Berlin and works as a composer for film, theater, and advertising.
